RPNS is committed to offering a program of developmentally appropriate activities for nursery-school aged children, under the guidance of highly qualified professional instructors. The program is designed to encourage individual growth, in a pro-social environment, and to foster exploration, creativity and good work habits through the experience of shared value and citizenship.
With a teacher-student ratio of 5:1, River Park Nursery School offers highly individualized attention. Classes are held Monday through Friday 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The school year runs from September through early June. Families may choose a schedule of 3, 4 or 5 mornings a week. Strong parent involvement is an integral part of our school community.

A: I believe children are active participants in their own learning. My role as an educator is to guide and facilitate situations to support and expand upon and sometimes challenge prior knowledge. The main focus of my curriculum is social/emotional development. I want RPNS students to know how to be productive members of society.

We're excited to launch our MiniHop series-a monthly local partnership to support River Park's programs and operational costs. January join us at Mr. Henry's Restaurant for River Park's fundraiser!

Since 1963, River Park Nursery School has provided an exceptional environment for children ages three to five to play and learn. River Park plays a vital role in fostering the development of young children for a life time of success!
