Intensive Outpatient Programs

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) are used to address mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, addictions, and the impact of trauma. IOP work enables patients to continue with their normal, day-to-day lives in a way that residential treatment programs do not.
Whereas residential treatment requires that people reside on site, people attending Intensive Outpatient Programs live at home or go back to a hotel or Airbnb at night and are not in a controlled environment.IOP work is designed to create a longer period of assessment, to establish understanding and support mechanisms, help with stress and symptom management, and teach skills.
