During the initial Psychiatric Evaluation, you will be meeting with Dr. DiPierdomenico directly for an hour and a half. The first part of your evaluation will be spent reviewing the history of your presenting problem, your psychiatric history, medical history, and family history. The second part of the evaluation will focus on your social history.

Dr. DiPierdomenico graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. During her Graduate training, she did research on the medical value of decision making and intelligent information processing for biomedical applications. In addition, she completed her thesis on the mathematical representation of the dynamics of cancer evolution in living tissue by studying chromosomal aberrations.
