I'm working to put together information that will give you a look not only into our childcare, but also about childcare options and resources in general, including information about finding the right childcare for your family.
I have been providing child care in San Diego for over 18 years and welcome you to use me as a resource for any questions that your family has encountered. About Me

My Childcare began when. I first made the decision to become a childcare provider in 2003. Because I had already been working out of my home, I had gotten into the routine of watching children for friends on a semi-regular basis. Friendly gists of "you should do this full time!" My days now consist of building castles and forts, reading a story at naptime, & wiping away tears after the latest booboo.
Toddler & Pre-K Program

Every time a child is present in the moment and participating in a skill they are internalizing and making new connections to the world around them. We provide everything a child needs to prepare for kindergarten. Every day we learn through play. We take advantage of learning opportunities such as sorting balls by color, blocks by size, making patters, or simple addition while serving our food.
Infant Program

As your infant grows, we will give them time to do for themselves. This starts very simple with such things as offering times that we are not jumping in to help when they are stretching and trying to reach a toy, or stretching to their side to try to roll over.
While we are always close by ready to lessen frustration and assist when needed, giving babies the space to achieve things independently creates opportunities for them to both experience the feeling of accomplishment and to see that they can have an affect on the world around them.Covering mouth and washing hands are also encouraged from day one.

Daily Schedule

These times are flexible. For example, we may come in from outside at 10:00 and choose a more relaxing activity. And, of course, the coming and going of parents & children will be accommodated as we work together to schedule around your needs. Notice that this schedule does not show transition periods.

If you feel that Cuddles Academy Childcare may be the right fit for your family, please fill out our enrollment inquiry form. Once I confirm that we have room for your little one, we will have a conversation by phone to begin getting to know each other and make sure that our program's structure can meet your needs and expectations.
