Praetas Technologies (pronounced "prA-tuss"), was originally established in 2003 and opened its first "brick and mortar" location in Palm Beach Gardens in 2011. In 2018, we moved to a new, 3,800 sq. We are licensed and insured to do work in and for all types of homes and businesses, and carry all necessary coverages for our techs so you are protected from the work we perform, and can rest assured that your data and your assets are protected.
Residential Support

For residential customers, we offer in-home, on-site support for all of your computing, network and consumer electronics needs. Anything from computer, printer or network setup, to installing a new Blu-ray player, setting up Netflix, extending the range of your wireless network, or mounting your new flat screen TV.

For Business customers, Praetas is your as needed, off-site IT Department. We are available during business hours for on-site and remote support, and are on call for emergencies before or after the workday, and on weekends.
We do not require costly maintenance agreements like most other managed service providers, which often just provide a false sense of security to the customer - we are there when you need us, and not costing you anything when we're not.We build and support Windows Server environments, peer-to-peer workgroups, sharing between PCs and Macs, remote access to your workstation and office data, multi-monitor setups, system upgrades and much more!

In Shop Support

Unlike most IT Support providers, we have a brick and mortar storefront to allow our customers to come meet with us face-to-face, and to make available a variety of computer parts and electronics for sale. Our most common In-Shop support services include design of Custom PC Desktops and laptops, repairs and upgrades to existing computers, data recovery, and upgrades of Operating Systems.

Praetas is a Florida Low Voltage Licensed Contractor, meaning we can pull any cable under 98V. That includes CAT5e and CAT6, which are the most common ethernet cables for networks, computer connections, cameras, wireless access points and more. We also install RG6, or coaxial cable, for cable TV and certain types of camera systems.
