Your Destination for Family Theater Excellence
Children's Theatre (CTC) stands as the nation's largest and most acclaimed theatre dedicated to young audiences, serving multigenerational communities through transformative theatrical experiences. Since our incorporation in 1975, we have produced over 200 new works, redefining the canon of theatre for young people while earning three Tony Award nominations, including a historic win for regional theatre excellence. Our mission to educate, challenge, and inspire is realized through world-class productions like Dr. Seuss's How The Grinch Stole Christmas! and Roald Dahl's The Enormous Crocodile, alongside comprehensive education programs that annually engage thousands of children.

As stewards of the land historically occupied by the Wahpekute People of the Dakota Nation, we maintain a deep commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion through our ACT One platform, ensuring our stages reflect the diverse communities we serve. Our technical artistry in scenic and costume design, combined with innovative puppetry and interactive experiences, creates unforgettable theatrical journeys that spark curiosity and empathy across generations.

Our family has developed Christmas tradition of seeing a play as our "main gift" and it's an incredible experience! We have seen Cinderella (twice), The Grinch that Stole Christmas and Annie and they were all marvelous! Such a talented group of people!

We came here to participate in a kid's theater workshop for our 3-year-old. We had a great time. Alex was her teacher and did a fineness working with some unruly tots. Thank you!

Great production. All the actors, including Sandy, did a fantastic job. I also appreciated the precautions that were implemented to help insure we all stayed safe and that performances could continue.
