
Tyler was raised in the suburbs of Kansas City, Kansas, then moved to Portland, Oregon in 2017 for a change of scenery. Over the last few years, he's been waiting tables while completing his Associate Paralegal Degree at Portland Community College. Tyler will be finished with his studies this fall when he plans to complete the NFPA Paralegal Certification.
His goal is to better serve our community by providing more affordable legal services and creating easier access to justice that is fair and equal to all. During Tyler's free time you might find him enjoying the outdoors with his dog, or attending live music concerts with his partner. He also enjoys practicing classical piano, learning to speak Spanish, and playing video games.

The Commons Law Center provides affordable legal services to income qualified people in Oregon. We can only help qualified clients who live at or below 400% of the federal poverty level. You may qualify for our services if your monthly income (before taxes or any expenses) is less than the amount listed below, based on household size.

Thanks to pro bono partners who help train new lawyers, we offer legal services that are below market rate. Fees are based on adjusted gross income. Our nonprofit clients launch schools, provide affordable housing, and spread peace and reconciliation among warring WWII nations. All board directors must personally qualify for services.
