I have been teaching since 2003 where I started part-time on my 5-acre yard in Indiana, I later added a putting green & bunker area before moving to Texas in 2015 where I joined the Joe Caruso Golf Academy as a golf instructor offering junior and adult golf lessons. I competed as an amateur in the Indiana Amateur Championship and other statewide amateur tournaments for a number of years before turning into a full-time golf instructor.
Golf Lessons

At Joe McNeil Golf we offer private golf lessons for adults at the Golf Club of Texas which has a wonderful driving range, short game area, massive putting green and 18 hole golf course. Lessons are typically 1-hour in length but can be longer if needed. Technologies and training aids I use during golf lessons include Hudl Technique, Blast Motion, Eyeline Golf, TourStriker, and others.
U.S. Kids Golf Player Pathway

We offer weekly group golf classes year-round at the Golf Club of Texas in San Antonio. Each class meets for 1 hour each week for a total of 4 hours each month. We use the U.S. Kids Player Pathway as the structure for the classes and to track the progress each student makes. The class sizes vary with 1 instructor per 6 students.
Junior Golf Camps

Our U.S. Kids Golf Certified Junior Golf Camps in San Antonio are taught in a fun and engaging environment, focusing on technique by using games to improve your child's ability. Kids ages 5-14 years old are encouraged to attend at The Golf Club of Texas, they will have a blast and get better at golf too!

Let's be honest if the kids don't enjoy it they won't get better. Why shouldn't learning to play a GAME be fun? I have 6 kids of my own and I have successfully taught them how to play and enjoy this great game. My golf lessons are fun & productive! I love teaching kids how to play golf. I make it my aim to help each junior player achieve their goals and maximize their potential.
