The BSO is made up of volunteer adult amateur, semi-professional and professional musicians from all around the metro area. Join the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Manny Laureano, for an evening of outdoor music played with the beautiful backdrop of Normandale Lake. Manny has selected a program of the best dance music from the classical orchestral repertoire, light classics, and more. The BSO is excited to welcome back vocalist Kiko Laureano, who will be singing a variety of genres from opera to musical theater to jazz.

Please join the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra as they present orchestral works that are old friends, along with some new acquaintances! We welcome viola soloist George Taylor in performances of the music of Georg Philipp Telemann and Adolphus Hailstork. As bookends for this program, the BSO will play two Nordic favorites: the overture from Carl Nielsen's comic opera, Maskarade, and the beloved Second Symphony of Jean Sibelius.

The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra is pleased to welcome a new, spectacular pianist, Clare Longendyke, as she collaborates with our musical forces to present the thoughtful delight that is Ludwig van Beethoven's G-Major Piano Concerto No. 4. In its turn, the BSO will play the swirling and powerful Fourth Symphony of German Romantic composer Anton Bruckner, continuing the personal relationship the Twin Cities has had with his music for many decades.
