We are a purpose-driven organization dedicated to creating joyful birthday experiences for children experiencing homelessness. Founded on the belief that every child deserves to feel seen, known, and celebrated, we have hosted over 3,800 parties and celebrated 33,000 birthdays since our inception. Our team of passionate volunteers and corporate partners deliver age-appropriate games, decorations, and gifts through both in-person celebrations and our Birthday in a Bag program.With operations in multiple cities, we provide consistent, meaningful engagement that combats the emotional impact of homelessness. Our work is guided by measurable outcomes - having directly impacted 80,000 children to date - and supported by partnerships with organizations like Bombas and Guggenheim Partners. Birthday in a Bag
This program delivers complete birthday celebration kits containing decorations, games, and gifts directly to shelters. Each bag includes age-specific items carefully selected to create memorable experiences for children who cannot attend in-person parties. Kits are distributed through established shelter partnerships across multiple states.

We maintain an Amazon Wish List with needed supplies, but recommend monetary donations for maximum flexibility. Birthday in a Bag kits contain pre-selected age-appropriate items.
