Commencement
Report
In-person ceremonies are planned by academic division. Attendance is limited to those with a ticket. The ceremonies will be live streamed from commencement.kcc.edu for family and friends to view this milestone moment. Be sure any official transcripts are evaluated by KCC, if transfer credits are needed to satisfy degree requirements.
Exam Make-ups
Report
Exam make-ups are at the Riverfront Campus, Testing Center, Room D218. An appointment is required. Please contact Testing Services at 815-802-8530 or TestingCenter@kcc.edu to schedule your exam. Check with your instructor to verify that the Make-up Request Form and the exam have been dropped off. Complete your exam under the directions noted by your instructor or with the accommodations as approved by the Office of Disability Services.

Cav Day
Report
Cav Day is an on-campus orientation and registration experience. The goal is to provide basic information to ensure a successful transition to KCC. All students will meet individually with an academic advisor and then complete their course registration. Requirements include submitting additional documentation that will assist with your course registration.
Placement Testing
Report
The Community Testing Center at KCC offers English and Math placement testing. Placement scores demonstrate your readiness for college-level writing, reading, and math and help determine your starting level in KCC courses. Placement tests are required for many of the programs and classes KCC offers.
