We're maintaining the level of cleanliness and service you know you can expect from us. Our hours have changed to Monday through Saturday 9-5pm, closed Sundays. Love this place. It looks little from outside but there's a deli, fresh bread, & everything italian homemade from the. lady that works the register.

Italo Merante began his first Italian grocery store with his brother Salvatore Merante on Frazier St. in South Oakland, PA. This was a time when Italians were immigrating to South Oakland and working hard to obtain a better life in America, while holding their Italian traditions. They worked very hard and diligent, and became successful.
