Homedog Resort & Daycare

The unkennel, dog kennel. Far from bored, dog boarding. Homedog isn't your typical dog kennel and we don't just offer dog boarding, we offer an all-inclusive, cage-free dog resort! What is a an all-inclusive, cage-free dog resort you ask? Well, it's a place your dog will have the freedom to be a dog all day long.

Our dog daycare program is different than all the other dog daycares in Columbus and we guarantee that! How? We ensure each dog's needs are assessed and met with a variety of options for care. Some dogs require more breaks, others more 1-on-1 attention and some toys and puzzles. We cater our program based on the dog's needs as each dog is different and each day is different.

Our program is designed using the values, policies and ethics set by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. We base our tactics and techniques using the LIMA strategy with programs designed by the owner and certified professional dog trainer, Greg Barnard CPDT-KA.

The LIMA strategy is an acronym for the phrase "Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive" meaning that our trainers use the least intrusive, minimally aversive strategy to succeed in achieving a training objective.We do not justify the use of punishment in place of other effective techniques and strategies.

In an effort to provide our guests with a most enjoyable experience we provide access to webcams located in our play areas. These cameras are to give our guests the opportunity to check-in on their furbaby and get a better idea of what goes on during the day. Our webcams are available from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm.

Our guest service associates will be responsible for handling all of Homedog Resort's guest's check-in/check-out, service, paperwork, inquiries, follow ups and facility maintenance/upkeep.
