Our goal is to improve lives by promoting healthy lifestyles. Our Weight Management Program uses one-on-one behavioral counseling and the prescription appetite suppressant, phentermine, to help our patients lose weight and develop the proper diet and exercise habits necessary to maintain that weight loss, without having to struggle against hunger.

With its emphasis on long-term progress and the use of a powerful prescription appetite suppressant, our program should be considered only by the significantly overweight who have failed multiple diet attempts. It is not appropriate for those seeking only modest weight loss for cosmetic reasons. A Better Way Health Center is dedicated to helping you lose weight in the healthiest way possible without hunger.

We allow patients a half-hour grace period for late check-in, after which time we require rescheduling. Priority is given to patients arriving promptly for their appointment. Patient referral
Report
I have discussed with this patient the health implications of his/her current overweight condition, and we both concur that behavioral attempts to improve this condition have produced less than satisfactory results to date.

I understand that A Better Way Health Center's medical staff will evaluate this patient for program eligibility, with referral back to his/her primary care provider should either a previously undisclosed medical condition be detected or further workup be deemed prudent.
