Services
Child Play Therapy
Our child counseling sessions use play therapy to create a nurturing space where children express themselves through play, process emotions, and build healthier relationships. This evidence-based approach supports communication development, emotional growth, and overall well-being for ages 3-10. Our therapists help children navigate life challenges through structured play activities that promote natural healing processes.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy helps clients process traumatic memories using bilateral stimulation techniques. Our EMDRIA-certified therapists guide clients through reprocessing distressing experiences, reducing emotional intensity, and replacing negative associations with positive beliefs. This specialized treatment effectively addresses PTSD, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders through a structured 8-phase approach.
Family Therapy
Family therapy sessions focus on improving communication patterns and strengthening relationships through collaborative treatment. Our licensed therapists employ systemic approaches to address family dynamics, resolve conflicts, and build stronger connections. The process includes play-based interventions for multigenerational families and evidence-based techniques for improving household communication patterns.
Christian Counseling
Our faith-integrated counseling combines evidence-based mental health treatment with Christian worldview principles. Therapists help clients explore spiritual questions, apply biblical wisdom to life challenges, and connect with local church resources. This approach addresses spiritual distress, faith crises, and values-based decision making while respecting individual beliefs and denominational differences.
Virtual Counseling
Secure virtual counseling sessions provide accessible mental health care through HIPAA-compliant platforms. Available for most services except EMDR, these sessions maintain clinical quality while offering flexibility for clients with scheduling challenges or geographic limitations. Our therapists deliver the same evidence-based treatments through virtual formats with no additional cost.

I've been going to this location for a year now and seeing Cristina Alvarez. I've had nothing but positive experiences. Their policies and expectations are upfront and reasonable. Anytime I've had an issue with billing or potentially missing an appointment they've always been very communicative and helpful and are consistent with the policies you agree to when starting therapy. Especially in the time of COVID19 they've done amazing work to adapt, very quickly, to do Remote sessions and keep everyone as safe as possible. All the staff show the same level of care, respect, and accountability that

My son has been going here for several months and we have loved our experience. He was seeing Michelle, who was wonderful and caring, but she recently left the practice for health reasons. He is now seeing Nic, who is also a great play therapist and whom my son really enjoys seeing. Things I love about this office: the staff has always been very professional and kind whenever we have visited the office; the play therapists are extremely knowledgeable and have interactive, engaging offices, full of fun activities; everyone has been flexible and accommodating when I have needed to change things up
