
Comprehensive assessments assist in better understanding the causes of difficulties an individual is experiencing, such as difficulties with attention, organization, behavior, learning/academic skills, language, emotional regulation and/or socialization. Assessments help to identify individual's strengths and challenges.

Dr. Bahador is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY17144) in California with over 25 years of clinical experience. She specializes in conducting psycho-educational, neuropsychological, and intellectual assessments. D. in Clinical Psychology in 1999 from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles (APA approved).
Assessment of Children & Adolescents

We specialize in comprehensive psycho-educational assessments with children and adolescents. Dr. Bahador and Dr. Daley work very well with children and adolescents, including those with special needs. They offer a safe and supportive environment to make the testing process a positive and engaging experience for children of all ages.
Intellectual Assessments IQ Testing
Report
Dr. Bahador and Dr. Daley conduct intellectual assessments (IQ tests) with children (starting at age 4) and adolescents to determine eligibility for admissions to gifted/highly schools and programs. Both Dr. Bahador and Dr. Daley are approved to do IQ testing for The Mirman School for highly gifted children as a part of the application process.
Assessment of Adults

Our assessment of adults include those who were never assessed in childhood or adolescence, but are experiencing difficulties in their school, work and/or interpersonal relationships. Often times, these are very bright individuals who were able to use their intelligence to compensate for some difficulties in childhood, but these issues eventually start interfering with their functioning.
Parent Consultations
Report
Assessment and treatment planning: Dr. Bahador works with parents to determine the best course of action when a child, adolescent or young adult is struggling at emotionally, socially and/or academically. During one to two parent consultation meetings, she gathers history, assesses the presenting questions and concerns, and guides parents regarding how to address the issues, such as suggestions for specific interventions or an assessment.
