San Francisco Winery Crafting Premium Wines
Founded in 2010, Cellars 33 is a San Francisco-based winery dedicated to crafting premium wines sourced from California's finest vineyards. Our journey began with a shared passion for wine, leading us to establish partnerships with sustainably farmed vineyards from the Sonoma Coast to Lodi. Over the past decade, we've grown from a small home operation to producing over 1,000 cases annually, earning international recognition for our Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel programs. Our urban winery in the Dogpatch neighborhood serves as a hub for innovation while maintaining traditional winemaking practices. We collaborate with esteemed professionals like winemaker Elyse Perry and vineyard manager Luis Miranda to ensure exceptional quality. Our commitment to sustainable agriculture and organic practices reflects our dedication to both environmental stewardship and superior wine production. With a loyal customer base and consistent growth, we continue to push boundaries in urban winemaking while honoring time-tested techniques. John was an absolutely amazing host, so extremely knowledgeable and passionate. It was cool to see how a winery can be situated in a major city. The grapes are brought from up north and transformed into wine here. Best wishes to Cellars 33 Winery! And yelpers, support this local business! (It sounds like they'll be opening a tasting room soon -- can't remember exactly where but coming soon!)

Had a group wine tasting here with John. He was an excellent source of knowledge on wine! Each and every one of the wines we tried here (e.g. Pinot, Rose, Zinfandel) were exceptional. I enjoyed my time here at this tasting - paired with cheeses, crackers, and nuts. We purchased 4 bottles of wine. Thank you John for your time, kindness, and truly truly excellent wine!

I met John at a fundraiser where he served his wine. Totally loved it and decided to buy a few bottles for my family in Germany.
Shipping to my house was fast and he threw in an extra bottle after a small misunderstanding which I very much appreciated. Thank you!!

Cellars 33 is an urban winery in SF that does not have an official tasting room. However, if you contact winemaker John Fones he may show you the facility. Cellars 33 makes excellent Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. John is also the winemaker for Von Holt Wines. John loves talking wine, so contact him soon!
