Robert Olsen (owner) started in the HVAC/R field during his time in the United States Navy (75-79'). He was E5/MM2 by the time he left the Navy. After the military he attended Lincoln Tech for HVAC/R training. After he finished Lincoln Tech, he started a job with Tenney Engineering as a field service personnel.
They produced environmental chambers used for government/institutional testing. Olsen Mechanical Inc was founded in 1998, by Jane (wife) and Robert Olsen. Jane takes care of the paperwork, answers the phones, and dispatches techs to customer's homes. Robert is the veteran technician. During the summer of 1998, Scott Olsen (son) was employed as a helper.
