As Ensemble Liaison, I'd be happy to show you the many music options for your wedding or event. For our audio rental service, please provide your venue location and guest count, and your microphone needs.

We can perform as String Quartet, Trio, Duo, or Solo instrumentation. Styles range from classical, wedding oriented music, to pop and rock songs (audio samples below). When picking songs for your ceremony or reception, feel free to mix and match as you wish to create your playlist. While many groups in town are just acoustic only, we can supply amplification for our group, to help make sure your guests can hear our acoustic sound well.

The Hot Club of Charleston is a collective of some of the Holy City's most talented musicians. They instantly lift the mood of any event, and soon toe-tapping and head-nodding give way to all out jump-jivin' and wailin'. The Hot Club strives to bring the "classy old south" to the party.

They can take a reception dance to the point of eruption, or provide the perfect upscale ambience with an endless list of instrumental standards from the Great American songbook.Bring out the true "southern charm" in any event with The Hot Club of Charleston!

The Palmetto Strings specializes in providing elegant live music for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Live string music will add a special atmosphere for your family and guests. Palmetto Strings has performed countless weddings in the Charleston, SC. They also travel to Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas.

Prelude time can vary a bit depending on how big the wedding is and how many people are being seated. Typically it's 20-30 minutes of music so if there is anything you like from our list let us know, otherwise we can fill in the time as needed with similar selections.

Having a coordinator or a designated person that can give the ensemble a clear cue/wave when the ceremony is about to start greatly helps transition from the prelude music to the first song during the ceremony as well as the other songs.During the music planning, our ensemble liaison will ask how many people will be walking down during the ceremony.
