The answer is impeccability. Every lesson, I strive to do my absolute best - and a little bit more - so that the student can do their best and a little bit more. As a comparatively small studio, I am very selective in the students I take on. I require prospective parents and students to observe a lesson and ask any questions they may have.

I started taking Suzuki violin lessons at four years old. I received my Bachelor of Music with Performance Honors from Syracuse University and my Masters of Music from The Boston Conservatory. I moved to Chicago in 2005 and founded Third Floor Suzuki Violin in 2010 with the intent of providing high quality violin instruction in the Ravenswood area.

Lessons are scheduled one per week for 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Lessons consist of playing repertoire, developing violin technique and ear training skills, note reading, music theory and music history. Please choose a time that works well for your family and that you can commit to on a weekly basis. Plan on being 10 minutes early to compensate for traffic, trouble parking, etc.
