We are delighted to announce that Linda Bassert, Design Principal of Masterworks Window Fashions & Design, has been awarded 1st place, Whole Room Integration (the interior design category) in the 2014 Envision Design Competition at the International Window Coverings Expo, sponsored by Window Fashions VISION magazine. This is Linda's fourth award in this competition. As soon as the project is published in next month's issue of VISION, we will be posting additional photos here. You really made my home feel like "me." My friends have also observed that the house expresses who I am, in particular, my love of music and my love of travel.
One of my friends came over to see my place, and the first words out of his mouth were, "this is so YOU!" I also like the fact that you were able to rearrange and coordinate many of my previous furnishings so they worked together to give some place style; I never would have been able to do that myself.I will be very proud to entertain in my new living room.

I had just begun to renovate my kitchen, family room and living room, and was overwhelmed with the number of decisions this would entail. Linda's expertise in so many areas proved invaluable in this project. Linda not only advise me on tile selection for my kitchen back-splash, she also outlined the placement of the tiles for my contractor.

Like Space Planning and Redesign, Color Consultation can prevent mistakes, and ensure a transformation which not only moves in the right new direction, but results in the mood intended. Color affects our emotions and is highly personal. The wrong color can have a very negative effect on us. The right color can recharge our batteries, enliven the party, or soothe the weary spirit.
