We are an academic community of faith that strives to form the hearts, minds, and souls of our students in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the living tradition of the Catholic Church. Students who are applying to Bishop Machebeuf must register and sit for the HSPT. The HSPT is a national standardized test created for academic placement evaluation.
Be advised, prospective students are only allowed to take the HSPT one time and at one location. We recommend students take the exam at their top choice high school. We are a family. Machebeuf has a strong legacy of educating students in a Catholic environment to pursue their goal and God-given talents in the areas of post-secondary education, the military, religious life and trades.

Monsignor Campbell secured the bulk of the land required to build the highly anticipated new high school. Additional land was purchased when it became increasingly clear that the school-age population in Denver was soaring. The school was renamed Bishop Machebeuf Catholic High School to clearly identify with the school's namesake, Bishop Joseph Machebeuf.
