Colorado Ballet Society offers world-class pre-professional training in ballet and dance in a safe, state-of-the-art facility. What is most remarkable is that a studio based upon an intense work ethic and corresponding discipline has such a huge heart! Colorado Ballet Society is about balance - excellence is always our goal, but we are first and foremost focused on the physical and emotional health of our students.
This is accomplished, of course, in the dance studio. We are a studio that is also about family. We welcome mothers, fathers, and siblings into our comfortable surroundings to join in the process of making superior dancers and well-rounded human beings. We feel miracles happen on a regular basis between our superb roster of instructors and their young aspiring artists, and we welcome everyone to be a part of the process.

Ballet is a type of performance dance that originated during the Italian Renaissance in the fifteenth century and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia. It has since become a widespread and highly technical form of dance with its own vocabulary. Ballet has been influential globally and has defined the foundational techniques used in many other dance genres and cultures.
