Since 1997, Colorado Ballet Society has provided world-class pre-professional dance training in a safe, state-of-the-art facility. The studios 11,000-square-foot facility features eight specialized dance rooms with marley sprung floors and viewing windows. Classical Ballet
Our Classical Ballet program follows the American Ballet Theater national training curriculum. Students develop technical precision and artistic expression through age-appropriate instruction. The program emphasizes proper alignment, musicality, and performance quality while prioritizing dancer health and development.
Hip-Hop
Hip-Hop classes focus on rhythm, isolations, and dynamic movement styles. Instructors teach foundational techniques while encouraging personal expression. Classes incorporate current trends and musical variety to develop versatile, creative dancers in a high-energy environment.
Jazz
Jazz instruction combines technical training with performance skills. Students learn proper warm-ups, across-the-floor progressions, and choreography. Classes emphasize syncopation, style, and versatility while preparing dancers for stage performances and competitions.
Tap
Tap dance classes develop musicality and rhythmic precision. Students progress through technical exercises and choreography that emphasize clear sounds and dynamic phrasing. Classes incorporate various tap styles from traditional to contemporary forms.
Pointe
Pointe training requires prior ballet foundation and instructor approval. Classes focus on proper alignment, strength development, and safe technique. Students learn to execute pointe work with artistry while maintaining foot health and technical precision.

What dance styles do you offer?
We offer classical ballet, hip-hop, jazz, tap, pointe, contemporary, acro, Broadway, Spanish classical, and pre-pointe programs for all skill levels.
Do you have a free trial class?
Yes! New students may schedule one free trial class to experience our programs and find the best placement for their skill level.
What performance opportunities exist?
Students participate in annual productions like The Nutcracker, Holiday Showcase, and A Colorado Nutcracker, plus regional competitions and special events throughout the year.
Are there awards or recognition?
We've been voted Best in the Springs for ten years and received four Pikes Peak Arts Council Awards. Our students consistently win competitions and earn scholarships.

We love Colorado Ballet Society! The staff are kind and patient with the kids and has been a overall great experience. The price is reasonable and costumes for recitals as well.

Love this ballet studio. My daughter takes tap and ballet here and the teachers are incredibly professional. My daughter has a goal to be in the youth ballet company and they do all they can to support her. Recently there was a miscommunication about when she was going to perform and we missed her performance time. They not only worked her into the later performance time so that she had an opportunity to perform, but they made a performance slot just for her! They go above and beyond to promote the growth and development of their dancers.

We mixed up our performance today today and Colorado Ballet Society was able to fit my daughter in with a different class at a later performance time. It made our day as this was her very first one!! We have been with them for just a few months and really love the environment, They have really helped my daughter come out of her shell and she is loving ballet!

Everyone here is absolutely awesome! My daughter has been dancing here for a couple of years now and they have always been so helpful and patient, including taking some time to show me how to do a proper bun. I have enjoyed watching how much my daughter has learned and am looking forward to many more years with these wonderful people! Thank you CBS! You guys ROCK!!
