Nonna Mia Cafe & Pizzeria
Simply put: Nonna Mia Cafe & Pizzeria was born out of a whole lot of love. It came from our love of good times shared with good people and our passion for all things Italian. You see, we like to think we do things the way they do in Sicily. We slow down and enjoy the moment a little more around here, but we do it without losing our classic NOLA style.

We focus on fresh ingredients and boldly delicious flavors in our cooking, and our space is comfortable so that people from all walks of life can feel at home. Family is everything to us, after all. We hope you'll join ours.
Services
At Nonna Mia Cafe & Pizzeria, we offer a menu loaded with delicious dishes including pizzas, paninis, sides, salads, pastas, seafood, calzones, rolls, desserts and a lot of other mouthwatering options. To quench your thirst, we feature an extensive cocktail menu boasting an entire line of our Italian ices, wine and other specialty drinks.

Nonna Mia has always been wonderful, and in fact it's AMAZING!!! We have been fans for years, but now with Chef Lea at the helm, this has become our honey hole. It's a must when visiting NOLA!

Absolutely terrible. This is supposed to be my to go chicken Alfredo. No Alfredo sauce and no season on the chicken. Noodles taste like raw garlic. And it cost $21. What a waste!!! Never eat here.

The owner is fantastic.! She was working as hostess, chef, and waitress, and did a fantastic job! The food was unbelievably amazing! Fresh baked bread with the prima panini, and the dough with the garlic cheese bread…I cannot say enough good things. It’s slightly off the busy path, but we’ll worth the walk.

That has got to be the best Italian food I've ever had. The pizza crust alone would be enough to rave about, but I tried three pizzas and two entrees and everything was amazing. That's an overused word, I know, but seriously, wow. And the owner and the staff are super friendly. By five minutes in, I really felt like I was being served home cooking by old friends. The building is cozy and charming as well, which really lends to the homey atmosphere. If you're in the area you really need to stop in, and if you're not, take a road trip. I'm already making plans for my next visit next time I'm in town

We were tired of the eating the same thing while visiting New Orleans. We wanted something different and found this place and if you go you have to try the Divine portobello! Sooo good. I also had the golden beet salad also amazing. It is located in a charming house not far from City Park.

This place has a warm and friendly atmosphere with great staff and awesome food at a very reasonable price to boot.
What we tried:
Shared the Divine Portobello with the wife, the sauce was a full flavored blend of creamy and I think tomato and works great with the chicken slices and Portobello on a some perfectly toasted bread. The wife and I may or may not have fought over the last bites of this.
Next was the Italian Pizza
It came out to the table and I am pretty sure I heard angels singing. The crust was thin but still soft and had just the right amount of crunch. The meats on top were super

Wanted to have Italian meal with our adult kids and found this jewel! The restaurant is nestled inside a historic home and has a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk on the porch. We chose to dine in, although it is optional to eat on the patio. Cristina was our waitress and she was a delight to meet! Food came and was in HUGE and generous proportions to which we all had left overs, except our son, whom devoured the Sicilian style lasagna. We LOVED this food and service will definitely be back when we return to NOLA❤️

We started with the bread sticks with (pesto, parmesan, marinara sauces) and the Garlic Shrimp Tuscany. Then we had the pasta salad, fettuccini, eggplant parmesan and pepperoni pizza. The service is excellent and the food is always good. We've been going here for years and always enjoy it.

This place deserves a better overall rating. Its least rated reviews are several years old.
The pizza was excellent. I mean, just look at that picture I uploaded! Mouth watering. I loved the smoky flavor. The garlic bread sticks were so soft and cheesy. The marinara dip was fresh, made in house and delicious. They have bottled and canned beers but I wish they served draft beers.
The have several tables and space heaters in the outdoor and patio seating, which is great!
