The Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home is a family owned and operated funeral home serving families in Binghamton and the surrounding area since 1936. We are held in high regard for the compassionate care and highly personalized service we provide the community. As of 2021, we are pleased to commemorate 85 years of service to the greater Binghamton area.

Over the past several years we have completed extensive interior and exterior renovations to our facility, letting us better meet your needs, and we will be making several more improvements throughout the year. Our staff is knowledgeable in a broad range of religious and cultural traditions and can provide any service that honors the life and values of those we serve.

Since 2009, we are pleased to say that we have made over $450,000 in improvements to our facility, furnishings and grounds, all to provide a more comfortable and useful environment to serve you better.We provide off-street parking for over 60 vehicles and seating for around 125 people. Most importantly we are committed to providing personal service to every family selecting our firm.
Cremation Services

Cremation is one form of final disposition for the deceased. Its most basic definition is a process of reducing the human body to bone fragments by flame and heat. These bone fragments are referred to as cremated remains or "ashes". A request for cremation refers only to the manner in which your loved one has chosen to deal with their physical remains.

Since 1936 the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home has served the needs of those in our community who experience the death of a loved one. Our commitment is to honor the life of the deceased by providing funeral services reflective of their personal values and beliefs and provide comfort to those left behind.
Veterans Headstones
Report
Upon request, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will provide, at no charge, a Government headstone or marker for the grave of any eligible deceased veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. Flat markers in granite, marble, and bronze and upright headstones in granite and marble are available.
Veterans Burial Flags
Report
A United States flag is provided, at no cost, to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased veteran who served honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces. It is furnished to honor the memory of a veteran's military service to his or her country. Generally, the flag is given to a family member after it's use during the funeral service.
