One of my strong beliefs about therapy is that therapy is a service you spend time and money participating in, therefore you should seek someone who has specific expertise to your needs. As a specialist and expert in couples counseling, I strive to be up-to-date on the latest research and proven methods that help couples be successful.

Along side this belief for professionalism and expertise, I also seek to make a warm and welcoming environment for all my couples. I know how daunting and scary coming to therapy can be, so I will always maintain a neutral and respectful environment in my office. I do not pick sides with my couples, I am here to help you as a couple be successful.

My wife and I sat down to talk about the future that both of us will drive towards. I myself had the strong urge to aid others in discovering their own passions, goals, and relationships. Perhaps most importantly, I wanted to enable my clients to see themselves for the unique, powerful, and gifted person for who they may struggle to see.

My approach in therapy is to provide a productive and secure space for each person to achieve their self-defined goals. This means first sessions work the same way for couples, families, and individuals, with a simple of question of "What is your goal for coming to therapy?" Feeling "stuck" or "at a loss of what to do" is a very common feeling going into therapy.

If you have an active health insurance clan with BCBS, please contact them directly prior to our first session to ask any questions concerning your benefits. A sliding fee is available for Couples and Individuals who qualify. I maintain a limited number of sliding scale slots, so feel free to reach out to see if I have availability.
