SACS is now a part of AdvancED Worldwide. The life of Blessed Edmund Rice - businessman, husband, father, widower, religious brother, teacher, and founder - challenges all involved in Christian Brother Education to live and teach Gospel values in today's world. His charism inspires the Essential Elements of a Christian Brother Education.
School History

The school was guided through its early years by Monsignor John F. Scully, the founding President, and was staffed by Diocesan Priests, the Dominican Sisters of Adrian, Michigan and dedicated lay personnel. The school opened with one classroom building and a convent. After spending one year in temporary quarters at Christ the King, 230 9th and 10th grade students made their way to the new Tampa Catholic campus.

I believe Tampa Catholic is the right school for me because it will help shape who I am in the future. I want to take honors classes and AP classes at this school. I would also like to participate in sports. I believe I will grow in faith at Tampa Catholic and become closer to God. It will give me the full high school experience and let me accomplish my goals.

Tampa Catholic provides its students with three programs tailored to meet the abilities and needs of each student. The HONORS PROGRAM is designed for the most academically talented students. Courses are taught at accelerated rates and seek to challenge and prepare students for admission into four-year colleges and universities.
