We are a local "Mom and Pop" cafe on Oak St. Our guiding principle is to make great coffee at a fair price and to be a place where people can feel safe and welcome at. We took over from the previous owners who had opened in the spring before Katrina. After the storm they decided to head home to family and friends but New Orleans is our home.
We wanted to contribute to the city's recovery and kept this coffee shop open, as a local gathering place. Over time it has evolved through its customers and the Baristas who have worked here. Z'otz can only be described as a spooky cafe and I dig it. Definitely my cup of tea. or should I say coffee?
