Dr. Hoang was born and raised in Long Beach, California. She graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School in 2002. In 2010, she graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in Biophysics. She went on to receive a Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences in 2015.
Dr. Hoang has participated in medical mission trips to Vietnam, Phillippines, Mexico, and Peru, providing vision services, exams, medication, and screenings to locals and orphanages.Dr. Hoang aims to provide you with friendly and quality eye care services. Comprehensive Eye Exams

Along with checking you vision, the comprehensive eye exam includes checking the complete health of the eye using the latest Topcon equipment. Refraction is done with a digital automated phoropter. Glaucoma Screening - We check your eye pressures using the latest iCare digital tonometer (no eye drops or air puffs!).
Contact Lens Services

Dr. Hoang provides contact lens services for patients with/without astigmatism. She can also fit multi-focal and monovision contact lenses. Dr. Hoang has experience in fitting RGP and scleral contacts for diseases like keratoconus and corneal ectasia. She is a firm believer in slowing the progression of myopia with orthokeratology, or ortho-k.
Lasik Consultation

As a Co-Managing Affiliate with Coastal Vision and NVISION (formerly TLC), she can perform pre- and post-op visits for lasik and cataract surgeries. LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) is a vision correction procedure used to correct most ranges of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
Medical Eye Visits

Medical eye appointments can be made for monitoring for macular degeneration, diabetic or hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma, or medical emergencies like flashes, floaters, eye strain/ headaches, vision loss, sudden blur or red eye. If you have macular degeneration, your eyes should be monitored at least anually; if not, more often.
