Mini Farm Animals

Our mini farm animals spend their days frolicking on our farm. They love being a part of special events that take place here and they often attend Summerfield Farms community events (check out our calendar here) too! Our minis would love to be a part of your event or photo session. Dolly is beautiful white miniature horse.
Grass-Fed Beef

We respect the land, nurture the soils, farm sustainably, treat animals humanely, and produce healthy forages and food for animals and you. Summerfield Farms' cattle are humanely pasture grazed to maturity in Guilford County. They are raised on mother's milk and grasses only, with no added hormones, antibiotics or steroids.

Summerfield Farms didn't intend to evolve into a grass-fed beef farm. Proprietor David Couch set out to restore the land after many years of soil depletion from growing tobacco and envisioned thriving pastures. His quest to restore the land coupled with his life passion for health & wellness resulted in the introduction of grass-fed cattle to once depleted soils.
Bulk Beef Buying

Buying beef in half and whole increments represents wholesale pricing and is the best value offered to the marketplace. When you place your order, we will provide you with an approximate date for your animal to be humanely harvested. A $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to reserve your portion.

Located at the front door of the farm, The Market features Summerfield Farms 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef, certified organic produce, dry goods, wine & beer, and a wide variety of gifts. We carry small-batch, handcrafted and locally sourced products whenever possible. When you step into The Market, it feels like home - you'll find smiling faces, a warm atmosphere, and your favorite nutrient-dense foods to fill your pantry.
