Tender Loving Care Senior Residence (TLCSR) is owned and operated by a Medical Doctor and Registered Nurse, who are also brother and sister. They are redefining Assisted Living & Senior Care by offering a Geriatrics trained MD & RN, who provide a high level of continuity, communication and coordination of care in a small personal, home setting.
They provide hands-on care several times a week to each resident and communicate with families on a regular basis about the resident's condition. Doctor, Shawn & Nurse, Kerry also communicate on a daily basis with their caregivers, to ensure everyone is up to date on resident's status. They are available day & night to assist with day to day issues, as well as, any emergencies that arise.

Tender Loving Care Senior Residence (TLCSR) is owned and operated by Shawn McGivney, MD and Kerry McGivney, RN. Both have extensive Geriatric Experience as a Medical Doctor (MD) and a Registered Nurse (RN). This brother and sister duo have had long passion to help seniors that started when they were young and helped their parents care for their Grandma Esther, when she came to live with their family.

Dr. Shawn McGivney MD, RFA, has spent most of his life learning and serving people in the community. More specifically, his learning & training is focused on aging, disabilities and chronic illnesses. He has been board certified in both, Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He has always had a unique ability to embrace leadership roles and has enjoyed being a community advocate.
Kerry McGivney, RN, Owner

Kerry has 15 years of experience in nursing. She has been involved with numerous renowned hospitals and healthcare centers before opening her own assisted care center. She holds a BS in nursing, offers direct care to residents, and works alongside her brother Dr. Shawn McGivney. She endeavors to eliminate the shortcomings of the healthcare system and instill in it the much needed care and compassion.

TLCSR is proud to repeatedly adhere to regulations & achieve the highest grade in a state that has one of the nation's highest regulatory standards for Group Homes or Assisted Living Facilities, Nevada.
