Welcome to Pumpkin Ridge Animal Sanctuary
Pumpkin Ridge Animal Sanctuary was founded in 2000 as Equestrian Ridge Farm, initially operating as a horseback riding and boarding facility. Our mission evolved during the 2008-2009 economic downturn when we began rescuing animals abandoned by owners unable to care for them. Over the past two decades, we have rehabilitated dozens of animals, providing them with permanent, loving homes. Officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2024, we combine animal rescue with public engagement through guided horse rides and farm visits. Our sanctuary prioritizes animal well-being while educating visitors about responsible care and conservation. All proceeds from our programs directly support our rescue operations, ensuring every visit contributes to our lifesaving work. We maintain transparency in our operations and rely entirely on donations to sustain our mission.
