Research has shown how important early childhood education is to the development of the young child. CNS, established in 1948, is focused on providing high quality early childhood education. We believe that all of our programs make a difference in the development of our children. Children need to develop thinking skills to be able to compete and thrive in society.

The programs at CNS are designed to meet the needs of children ages 6 months through 5th grade. CNS believes that children learn through play, so while we encourage the development of all of their abilities, we do so in a stress-free, playful environment. All the programs at CNS incorporate art, sign language, cooking, gardening, music, dance and movement.
Ladybug and Bumblebee Rooms

Children ages 6 weeks to about 18 months enjoy a space designed specifically for their needs. Infants are introduced to a variety of age appropriate activities that will encourage their development. Sign language is introduced using simple signs. Socialization through mealtime conversation, crawling, and playing on the floor helps the infants' social development.
The Dragonfly Room

The children in our Dragonfly Room are encouraged to be more independent. The morning schedule introduces children to learning centers, circle time and a play based routine. Children are able to initiate child centered activities as well as engage in activities needing more teacher involvement.
The program offers activities such as singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, water & sand play, simple science lessons, literacy development, poetry and stories, muscle coordination and fine motor skill development.

Grasshopper Room
Report
In this program our young learners are preparing for kindergarten, with a strong emphasis on socialization. We follow a play based routine with learning centers, circle time and the development of early literacy skills. Children are introduced to a science center where they can explore and perform simple experiments.
