Vosburgh's Custom Cabin Rentals offers a unique approach to your Northwoods retreat. Our eight vacation homes are located on beautiful Moose Lake, the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). Each has a breath-taking view of the lake, offers the remoteness and privacy of the Northwoods, and contains all the comforts of home.

The Vosburgh family tradition of resorting started with Kirk's Lodge; a resort that operated from the 1930's to the 1980's on the same Moose Lake, and was run by Ruth and Bill Burley. In the late 1980's their grandson, Mike Vosburgh, opened his own doors to what is now known as Vosburgh's Custom Cabin Rentals.

Because it is necessary to protect the wilderness and promote the tranquility and solitude of the BWCAW, motor usage is limited to 25hp as are the number of people entering the wilderness area. Certain other restrictions regarding entry into the BWCAW may apply. We are a cooperator with the USDA Forest Service under the Superior National Forest.

Large cabin with lakefront access and screened-in porch with stunning sunset views of the BWCA. Equipped with range, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, bed linens, and free-standing fireplace. Lake-facing porch and privacy. All you need to bring are towels for the kitchen and the bathroom, food, and charcoal for the grill.
