Services
Caf
Report
The cafe in Roundabout Books is a cozy way to enjoy your favorite local bookstore even more! We proudly serve all locally-sourced espresso, tea, and baked goods. Settle in with one of our booklover lattes, treat the kiddos with our Honeydukes display, or pick up a New York Times and enjoy a quiet moment with a cup of our local favorite, Metolius Tea.
Employment
Report
We cross-train our booksellers in order for each staff member to become knowledgeable about the operations of our bookstore and cafe. The work is customer-oriented, very detailed, and sometimes physically demanding. Booksellers spend long hours on our feet, lift heavy boxes, move bookcases, and use frequent, repetitive movements while making cafe drinks and shelving books.
Cassie
Report
Cassie is the owner operator of Roundabout Books. She moved from Phoenix to Bend in 2011 with her husband and three children. She founded Roundabout Books in 2016 simply because she loves books and bookstores, and wanted one in her community. Other than reading, Cassie's favorite thing to do is travel to the United States National Parks every summer with her family.
