Bordered by the Portage Creek, natural woodlands and rolling pastures, the Blue Heron Barn was originally built in the late 1800's. Today, the barn has been restored with great care, taking every precaution to maintain the old barn charm. The barn venue comfortably accommodates 200 guests.

Check our WEDDINGS page for pricing and all that is included. Our costs are a flat fee meaning we do not hide or add any additional fees to our packages. A non-refundable $1,000 event retainer is required at the time your event is scheduled (cash, check, or credit card). The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event.
Guest Information

Blue Heron Barn is an old dairy barn converted into a modern and elegant wedding venue. The barn is not heated or cooled. We do our best to provide fans and/or portable heaters in case of unpredictable Michigan temperatures. We highly recommend dressing for the weather on the day of the event. The barn and grounds are handicap accessible, including the restrooms.
