Kristi G: We have taken lessons with Laura as a family now for almost 5 years (Dad, Mom, Ian -12.) We enjoy taking lessons with her. We appreciate her patience and teaching style that has helped us grow musically. My son has been able to audition and get into the Jefferson County Honor Orchestra 3 years now and the Front Range Youth Symphony because of the ability Laura has fostered in him.
Her studio gives about 4 recitals a year, which makes students prepare and perform pieces in front of an audience which is fantastic! I teach one-to-one violin and viola classes. You will learn the technical skills and techniques to play the violin and/or viola well. You will also learn to play musically and to make your own valid musical choices and interpretations. Basic improvisation and understanding of basic music theory is also covered in the lessons.
