CW Arborists, Ltd. is the result of a natural evolution and the ongoing commitment of our founder, Michael S. Gaines. He and the CW Arborists team are dedicated to the art and science of arboriculture. Mr. Gaines began his career in the nursery business, eventually owning and managing his own establishment in East Hampton, NY.
After supplying and advising residential, commercial and professional clients for several years, he expanded his passion for Arboriculture by becoming credentialed as an ISA Board-Certified Master Arborist (BCMA) and Connecticut State Arborist.

Our Sagaponack office services East Hampton, Sagaponack, Southampton, Sag Harbor, West Hampton and other hamlets on the east end. In 2020 Beech Leaf Disease was located and identified in Sag Harbor and East Hampton. Boxwood Blight continues to be a managable concern here in East Hampton, Southampton and elsewhere in the region.

Having the right tool is important. We use product delivery equipment which is clean, safe and responsible. Our staff is educated, informed and experienced in both the equipment and the products we apply. While pruning is part of the property maintenance services offered by CW Arborists, Ltd., it is by no means the only service.
