This is at the top of the list. As a participant of Buzzardball, your child will learn about sportsmanship, gamesmanship, respect, being a good teammate, being a leader, as well as many others. We care more about who they are when they step outside the gym. Buzzardball is built around being available for boys and girls of ALL levels.

This winter recreation basketball league is anchored on its partnerships with the Sacramento Kings, Jesuit, and amazing small businesses in the greater Sacramento area. Over 750 K-8 Boys and Girls played this past season. Games are played on Sundays from January-March. 3rd-8th Grade teams play their championship games at the Golden 1 Center.
Summer Camp

Steve Buzzard is entering his 26th year as director of Buzzardball's Summer Hoop Camp. In 1994, the camp was instituted as a summer program that featured a total of 30 kids over a four-week period. Today, Buzzardball finished with a record 470 participants from 79 different schools in the greater Sacramento area.
