E. Bruce Adams, the son of the late Mrs. Eunice Adams and John Wesley Adams, is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He received his elementary and secondary education in the public school system of Detroit, Michigan in 1971. Following the tradition of the men in his family, upon graduation from Henry Ford High School in Detroit, he moved south and matriculated at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.
