In our effort to remain a leader and innovator in our profession, in 1995 The Pecan Tree Kennel expanded its services to include the leasing of a fully trained bird dog(s) by the day, the week, the month, or for the entire season.

Our reputation has been earned by years of providing a most complete and professional bird dog training facility. The Pecan Tree Kennel Training Grounds consist of 122 acres of superb, natural quail habitat. Our dogs are worked daily by our professional trainers. All of our dogs start their training work on flight conditioned liberated bob-white quail.
Boarding

The Pecan Tree Kennel boards bird hunting dogs all year around at our modern State-of-the Art kennel facility. Our kennel facility is designed and constructed to assure that every dog has the maximum in safety and health conditions. You may board your dog for one day or for the entire year. You will find our rates are most competitive.
Leasing
Report
The Pecan Tree Kennel, Bellville, Texas, will lease you a fully trained bird dog by the day, week, month, or season. The lessee will be required to fill out and sign a Lease Dog Contract prior to or at the time the lease dog(s) are picked up. A copy of the Lease Dog Contract can be mailed or faxed to you in advance upon request for your review or completion.

Breeding

The Pecan Tree Kennel features a breeding program designed to produce excellent bird hunting dogs. We carefully select the Sire and Dam, taking into consideration their pedigrees, but more importantly, their individual characteristics. Size, style, nose, desire, drive, and keen bird sense are all factors that weigh heavily in our selection of a Sire or Dam in our breeding program.
