Gallery Wild first opened its doors in 2018 in a small gallery space in downtown Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Carrie Wild and Jason Williams, gallery owners and artists themselves, put together a carefully curated collection of contemporary fine art inspired by wildlife, wild spaces and conservation. Gallery Wild was well received by the Jackson Hole community and quickly outgrew its modest space within months of its grand opening.

Technically, Carrie Wild paints Western wildlife. But the verve and whimsy that she infuses into each of her paintings is compelling and unexpected - you won't mistake one of her thoughtful animal profiles for a photograph. She hopes, though, that what your eye doesn't immediately identify as familiar, your heart and memory will.
