Pine Ridge Day Camp is located on 120+ acres in Somerville, Alabama, just 20 minutes from South Huntsville. We offer summer day camp sessions for children in North Alabama, including equestrian camps. Campers enjoy fun-filled days of activities including horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, archery, rock-wall climbing, zip-lining, high & low ropes challenge courses, and more!
Dates + Rates

Pine Ridge Day Camp offers camp sessions as one-week sessions. Additional weeks can be added, and campers can participate in the full summer season. Sessions are held Monday through Friday, rain or shine. Camp transportation is available via bus pick-up and drop-off locations in Decatur, Madison, Huntsville, Hampton Cove, Priceville, and Hartselle.

We provide a wide variety of options by including traditional camp activities such as swimming, hiking, and arts & crafts, as well as other activities like zip-lining, a high ropes challenge course, archery, and horseback riding.

At Pine Ridge Day Camp, our campers come from all across North Alabama. We offer free transportation to camp with bus stop locations in Huntsville, Madison, Decatur, Priceville, Hartselle, and Hampton Cove. In addition to making camp possible for more children, this also creates an opportunity for campers that live in the same community to get to know each other.

At Pine Ridge Day Camp, we have an energetic, passionate staff that understands the importance of helping children learn and grow while making wonderful memories. Our summer camp staff works hard to make sure each camper has a great experience and is kept safe. Our equestrian staff maintains horseback riding programs throughout the year, including private and group equestrian lessons and a horse show team.
