Lou's Jewelry is family owned and operated and has been since 1975. Lou Sherrer started the store with her son Steve. When Tim, her youngest, graduated from high school he joined the team and earned his Graduate Gemologist Degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Steve is our Certified Master Bench Jeweler and specializes in custom design.
Today Steve and Tim currently own the business and are joined by their children and spouses to create a unique experience based on customer service and an unwavering dedication to quality jewelry. Buying a diamond is a very personal experience. Diamonds can be bought to signify love, significant accomplishments, milestones in your life or that of a gift's recipient. Unlike when you buy clothing, electronics, or cars, the features of a diamond may not seem quite so obvious to you. We would like to change that.

We offer written appraisals for insurance, estate, and personal purposes. Our appraisals are done by two Gemological Institute of America (GIA) trained Graduate Gemologist with more than 35 years of experience in jewelry appraisals. Whether it is sorting between what is precious metals and gemstones or doing a full appraisal on certain pieces, our staff would love to work with you and answer any question you may have.

We offer in-store goldsmithing. At Lou's Jewelry our Goldsmiths pride ourselves in the quality of our service; not only the personal treatment you will receive when you walk in the door of one of our stores, but also the superior services offered by our in-house goldsmiths, watchmakers, engravers and jewelers.
