Our children previously attended an excelling traditional charter school and an A+ public school, neither of which were the right mix of academic challenge and family atmosphere we were looking for. Bayer Private School was started by a group of core parents who wanted the best education possible for their children.
To accomplish this, they sought out the help of the Lovelady family to help them run and manage the school. The Lovelady family was responsible for starting Rancho Solano Private Schools in 1954. With their guidance, Rancho Solano became the largest and most recognized private school in Arizona. It was acclaimed for graduating students into highly competitive schools both here in the U.S. and throughout the world.

The Bayer School story began in 1954 when my grandparents Bayer opened up a private school in the Rancho Solano neighborhood in central Phoenix. It became the number one private school in the valley when it was acquired in 2007 by an international school company.
Bayer Private School was founded in 2014, three generations and 60 years later, by parents and teaching professionals seeking a school with high standards of education, a strong sense of values, and a commitment to community.The 'Legacy of Learning' promises the benefit of our longstanding commitment and experience in private education in the valley.

Academics

At each grade level, students are challenged to achieve through rigorous academics. The school culture helps students develop critical thinking skills, natural curiosity, and a love of learning. Reading begins with pre-decodables in pre-school, moving into reading and writing workshops, literature analysis, and novel studies through middle school.
