Our fellowship-trained and Board-Certified sports medicine orthopaedic surgeons use innovative procedures and therapies to help you get back to what you love doing. Led by sports medicine physician Kevin D. Heaton, DO, our concussion program is one of the most comprehensive in New England. Whether you've broken a bone, torn a ligament, or injured a tendon, our physicians create casts and splints that are custom-made to your body and injury.

We also have the first Open MRI Center in the country to be accredited by the American College of Radiology. Since our services are in-house, our physicians have immediate access to your imaging for fast and accurate diagnoses. Our physical and occupational therapists are trained to evaluate strength, range of motion, posture, balance, and functional performance.

Patient Testimonials
Report
I honestly could not recommend Dr. Davis more. Being a female in the military, hip issues are very common. I was told by 3 different orthopedic doctors that I just needed to rest and ice my hips. So I did, for years. When I found Dr. Davis for my 4th consult I was prepared for him to also brush me off.
Patient Form Request
Report
Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics offers patients the opportunity to communicate with clinicians by email and view/print or transmit forms electronically. Transmitting patient information electronically, however, has a number of risks that patients should consider before giving consent. These risks are outlined in the terms and conditions below.
Knee & Lower Extremity Pain, Injuries & Surgery
Report
Injuries and pain in the knees and lower extremities can result in the inability to exercise, play or even perform job duties comfortably. For these situations, Access Sports Medicine provides a full range of services to help you get back on your feet. Most commonly, acute injuries from falls or slips can result in pain and injury to knees, legs, ankles and feet.
ACL Treatment
Report
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is responsible for keeping the knee stable. As a ligament, the ACL connects the upper leg bone and lower leg bone. A tear in the ACL can range from a mild injury to a severe tear if the ligament completely tears and causes the bones to separate. ACL injuries commonly occur from deceleration - a reduction in speed.
