Kellogg Community College
Kellogg Community College was founded in 1956 by the Battle Creek Board of Education. In 1970, voters created an area-wide college district supported by local tax dollars.

KCC, which has sites in Battle Creek, Albion, Coldwater, Hastings, and in the Fort Custer Industrial Park, offers 60 pre-professional transfer curricula; 37 associate degree programs; 25 certificate programs; seven categories of professional certifications; and a variety of short-term, non-credit courses.Kellogg Community College serves approximately 9,000 students annually via five campuses, customized training and online coursework.

Through institutional self-evaluation, peer review, and institutional response, accreditation evaluates formal educational activities and institutional operations essential to the effectiveness of a college.

Kellogg Community College is on a journey to become an equity-minded organization by building capacity for equity and inclusion within faculty, staff and students and by creating and modifying policies and practices that benefit all. In recent years, KCC has created and supported an Office of Equity and Inclusion, Equity and Inclusion Committee, Accessibility Task Force, Women's Network and other initiatives which have equity as a common goal.

The Department of Public Safety at Kellogg Community College is committed to providing an environment that is safe, secure and conducive to learning for students, staff and our community at all campus locations. No college campus is exempt being a target of crime. Therefore, KCC has developed a series of policies and procedures that are designed to ensure that every possible precautionary measure is taken to protect individuals on our campuses.

Kellogg Community College (KCC) must comply with a state's regulations before any educational activity can occur within that state. Those regulations determine whether KCC may offer you a place in a course or program.

The range of educational activities regulated includes offering 100% online courses and programs to online and/or campus-based courses that include activities such as internships, externships, co-ops, field experiences, student teaching, and clinical placements.KCC participates in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA).
