All professionals at Virginia Center For Women maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Gray is a graduate of Tulane University School of medicine. He completed his residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington DC in 1988.
Linda Mathison-Ezieme, MD

Dr. Linda Mathison-Ezieme received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Rochester. She served on the academic faculties at Louisiana State University before joining our group. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Derwin P. Gray II, MD

Dr. Gray was born and raised in Hampton Roads. He attended Norfolk Academy and received his Bachelor of Science from Morehouse College. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU in New York. He specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures and performs advanced procedures with the da Vinci Robot.
Tracy Papp RNC, MSN, WHNP

Tracy is a Board Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of experience in women's healthcare. She earned her Bachelor in Nursing from Norfolk State University in 1995. She spent the next nine years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at local hospitals where she earned her Inpatient OB certification and was awarded the President's Medal for Excellence in Nursing at Chesapeake General Hospital.
Melody Tapp RNC, MSN, WHNP

Melody Tapp has been a nurse practitioner caring for women since 2004. After becoming certified as a Nurse Practitioner, she worked for Planned Parenthood prior to joining the team at Virginia Center for Women in the summer of 2004. Melody received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University in 1994.
