So, idk how to emphasize this, but never hire these rude, obnoxious, and know-it-all but truly ignorant people.
Came into my house, loudly criticized my wood stove, even said it would explode into many pieces when hot (had it already for 10 years, red lined frequently, no explosion.) Griped about the installation (we did it by code, professionally installed and had it inspected, other sweeps complimented us on it). Worst of all, I asked that he be careful with the concrete top plate as we had just had it replaced, I suggested he remove it. His wife informed me (rudely) that he knew what he was
