Corazon Folklorico DC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dance company founded in 2005 to celebrate Mexican cultural diversity through Ballet Folklrico. Our mission focuses on building a multicultural community in Washington, DC, by offering free dance classes to adults aged 18+. With over 15 years of experience, we have performed for 18,000+ spectators at 70+ events, including annual showcases at local theaters. Ballet Folklrico Classes

Are classes really free?
Yes, all adult dance classes are completely free. We only ask students to provide their own practice clothing and shoes.

Attend our free classes regularly. Performers are selected from class participants for showcase opportunities.

This company is one big inclusive family!
Corazon Folklorico has allowed me to be more involved with the community and proudly showcase Mexico's culture. The artistic Director is very patient with all levels of dancing and has years of Folklorico knowledge. If you are in the DMV area and are looking to join a dance group that offers FREE classes, this is your place. I especially encourage transplants who are looking to connect with others.
